Imaginary Friend (- Test)
When having to make a finishing film for my academic course about film, I decided to try and "practice" working with animation over film, which is required by another movie I'm working on. Unfortunately, animating over a whole four-minute film was slightly too ambitious, and I only ended up having the main character - who happened to be played by my sister - be seen without any animated companion. But it managed to work out, and I'm happy with the result anyway! Afterwards, it won second prize for the main teen-category DOK.education. It was an amazing experience and great honor to have the film played on the cinema screen of the HFF - Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film.

"Wir wissen nicht, was wir machen sollen."
This film was nominated in the "Filmtage Bayerischer Schulen" and "Aufblende 2022", a German-speaking-wide festival, which is funny, because this started in art class as an assignment. Our group had absolutely no idea what to do, and we just ended up playing around and filming each other. I took the footage back home and started editing everything together. Then I literally just grabbed a random song (which happened to be Beethoven's Fifth Symphony - Don't worry, we switched to a copyright free version afterwards), that our music teacher had given us for an assignment during home schooling. So somehow, what was, at first, cluelessly playing around actually turned into something that has won ourselves nominations!

Imaginary Friend
This has been my latest project and obsession. It's still in pre-production, but I am pouring my heart and soul into this film - a mix between live action and animation. Don't miss it!

This is me.
In my Juniorassistenz-Film training, it was the task to showcase yourself and the different areas you can be considered as a "nerd". Here, I took this as a chance to express the stress I've been under from having so many interests and biting off more than I can chew.

Hau tu mäik ä gud skulfilm
During the Aufblende 2022 Filmfestival, there was the competition of making a 60-second film under 20 hours with the topic "Hau tu mäik ä gud skulfilm", which is sort of the German or, as it was to be understood, "dumb" way of spelling of "How to make a good schoolfilm". It was to be interpreted as a comical or sarcastic way of making a guide film to making a movie. Although I was tied with another entry, I won 1st place!

Portrait-Film
I had the pleasure of working together with another student from the other side of Bavaria during my education at the "Juniorassistenz Filmakademie". We both created interview films of each other and in the case of this little film, it put together by my partner and the videos were recorded by me.
Bicycling
This is more or less an experimental film I've been making with my sister about, well, bicycling. It's in production, I'm still editing! I'll keep you posted and upload it as soon as I'm done.
